Caring for our planet is a value we hold close to our hearts. At The Gentle Dentist At Mt Warren Park, we are mindful of our impact on the environment and are always striving to find ways to be eco-friendly.
We'd like to share the initiatives we take, EVERY DAY, to look after our home, our earth:
Oral Care Recycling Program
As part of the Colgate Oral Care Brigade, we accept oral care wastes of any brand - such as toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and floss containers. Your waste packaging can be diverted from landfill, to be recycled by TerraCycle instead.
Separating waste for Recycling
We separate our waste for recycling. This is a process that is consistent throughout our entire clinic, from our reception through to our surgeries. Maintaining our strict levels of infection control does create a lot of waste, so we make sure we recycle everything we can, such as separating our sterilization pouches into paper and soft plastic recycling streams.
Going Green
We seek out the most eco-friendly products available. Our compostable bin liners are made corn. We use paper cups instead of plastic. We have reusable shopping bags and bamboo toothbrushes for our patients, and wherever possible we choose sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning products.
